The Victoria Bowling Club Inc. was founded in 1907 and is situated at 231 Victoria Street.

Our outstanding facilities include a fully licenced Club consisting a spacious air conditioned function room for up to 270 people and a separate Members area.

The function room is suitable for a variety of occasions including weddings, engagement, anniversaries, and birthdays.

Hosting both grass and synthetic greens allows for lawn bowls action all year round. Decking along our Clubhouse overlooks the Synthetic Green, Spectators / bowlers utilising this area are protected from the sun by sunblinds. It really is the perfect location for Barefoot Bowls for your work breakup, or team-building event.

Victoria Bowling Club Inc. is quickly gaining a reputation as a family lawn bowls club. We have a number of members with young children, who are welcomed into the club environment and encouraged and supported if they wish to take on the sport.

The Bowling Club can cater up to 120 players at one time in either pennant competitions or when hosting other major tournaments, such as the prestigious Gold Nugget Fours.

Generous off street area allows for a safe and secure parking.

The room has beautifully polished floorboards and has recently been repainted with modern and neutral tones as not to distract from your vision for the space.

Victoria Bowling Club – 44th Gold Nugget – Open Fours Tournament

Entries are now open for this prestigious, honour board event. We thank our sponsors, W&D Finance, UFS Dispensary, Aviso Integral, Ballarat Decorators (Stephen Britt), Bob Whitcher & George Pyke.

4 games of 11 ends on 2 great greens, fantastic prize money and lunch provided. $120 per team. 9am start.

Life Member status for Victoria Bowling Club legends

At our recent AGM, it was unanimously decided by the members of Victoria Bowling Club that Barry Clark and Noel Verlinden had earned the status of Life Membership at the Big V.

Bob Whitcher had the honour of presenting Barry and Noel with their certificates and outlined the many highlights of their time with the club, both on and off the greens. It was terrific to have their families in attendance to share in the celebration.

Congratulations Barry and Noel on your well deserved recognition.

Season 24/25 Saturday Division One Champions

The Big V went back to back to back after finishing the home and away season in top spot. It was a hard-fought battle in the final but they prevailed over Sebastopol Bowling Club by 7 shots.

Season 24/25 Tuesday Division One Champions

Our Tuesday Division One side toppled the side from City Oval, who had sat on top of the ladder all season. Go the Big V!

Season 24/25 Saturday Division Four Champions

After a number of years of falling just short, this was the year for our Division Four Saturday Pennant side. Looking forward to the new challenge in Division Three in season 25/26.
