Capable of seating approx 270 people, our function room is ideal for hosting Weddings, Anniversaries, 21st’s, Trivia Nights, Concerts, in fact, any type of function.
The function room is a large blank canvas, with endless styling opportunities.*

Member's Lounge
The Member’s Lounge is perfect for smaller get-togethers, meetings, or a place to wind down after a fiercely contested game of bare-foot bowls.
Plug your laptop into the big screen TV to share your presentation. This is a great little informal space, with multiple uses.
Kitchen
Our kitchen is perfectly equipped to take care of your catering needs.
Two large ovens, a double industrial fridge and plenty of dinner ware and utensils, we have everything covered for getting your guests meals and snacks out at the perfect temperature.
During the Green Bowls Season (Late September through to March) on Saturdays the kitchen is not available until 4.00 p.m. The Reception area is available from 5.00 p.m. on Saturdays or earlier by special arrangement.
Hirers must supply own tea towels and consumables, such as, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, etc.
The Greens
Victoria Bowling Club pride ourselves on the presentation of our greens and are happy to offer up world-class bowling surfaces for our members and guests.
Victoria Bowling Club’s new synthetic bowling green which officially opened 26th September 2019, was fully funded and delivered by the City of Ballarat as part of the 2018/19 sport and active living capital delivery program.
The project was delivered in partnership with the Victoria Bowling Club, having been identified as a priority project in the City of Ballarat Bowls Facilities Framework.
The $275,000 project was completed over 10 weeks by Sportcrete.
The synthetic green will allow greater participation opportunities for both competitive and non-competitive bowlers of all ages by offering an all-weather surface that can be used throughout the year.
The project was delivered as part of City of Ballarat’s ongoing investment into sport, recreation and active living developments across Ballarat.

In December 2020, Victoria Bowling Club honoured two stalwarts of the club when opening the new grass green, jointly naming it: “The Kevin & Stephen Britt Green”. The late Kevin Britt served the club as President, Board Member and Outstanding Volunteer. His son Stephen has been Bar Manager, Board Member and currently Greens Director, a role that has seen him put in countless hours. Stephen is an exceptional bowler, winning numerous club titles including club champion and BDBD Champion of Champions.
The green is a hybrid green couch. Tifdwarf is a dwarf 1st generation hybrid green couch variety suitable for golf and bowling greens that tolerates routine close mowing. It is a beautiful surface to bowl on and has been running at a nice pace and is exceptionally true on both hands.
