VBC helps St Alipius to finals in SSV Primary School Bowls Competition

It was a pleasure to partner with St Alipius Parish School again this year as their home base for training in preparation for the SSV Primary School Lawn Bowls competition at Sebastopol Bowling Club.

The students spent four Wednesday afternoons at our club in the lead up to the event learning the basic fundamentals and rules of the sport under the guidance of our wonderful volunteers.

Thank you to our member volunteers for giving up their time to assist these young stars in preparing for their big day yesterday.

Let’s hope it’s another successful day on September 3 as we had one of the two sides progress to the finals. And I’m sure we’ll see the students back on our green again in preparation for the big day over the coming months. ✌🏼🤍💙
