2026 Premier Plumbing Services & George McBryde Memorial – Australia Day Open Fours

In glorious weather, Victoria Bowling Club held the Premier Plumbing and George McBryde Memorial – Australia Day Open Fours.

With an earlier start time due to the forecast high temperatures, 20 teams battled it out on our world-class greens, playing 3 games of 7 ends.

We had 3 x 3 game winners, taking home the prize money:

1st – Billie Lennecke, Lauren Morris, Micah Oswin & Marc Oswin
2nd – Jill Hopper, Deb Gorin, John Cameron & Paul Lovell
3rd – Tom Baldwin, Yuvi Miterani, Jack Baldwin & Boyd Browning

Great to see so many of our region’s junior bowlers featuring in the top 3.

After the presentations we moved into the highly anticipated Trivia Quiz – made up of Australian and Scottish themed questions – with the winners scoring an impressing 29 out of 40. Congratulations to the team of Ros, Cappy, Parks, Bob and Wobbles.
