Our Ballarat Gold Digger comes home with silver

A huge day at Club Sunbury for the Ballarat Gold Diggers as they competed in the Doug Kneebone Tournament. Players were in action from 8:45am until 3:30pm taking part in fours, triples, pairs and singles, rotating from indoor on the carpet surface to the two outdoor grass greens.

The team of Micah Oswin, Addy Ryan (Learmonth), Oscar Jones (Yarraville-Footscray) and Dusty Taylor-Irwin (Creswick) finished second from 24 teams, only dropping one game for the day.

Congratulations to the entire Gold Diggers squad for how well they played throughout the day. A great experience for all.
