Indoor bowls success in 2025 season
After a tough season 2024, with 2 of our sides being relegated, VBC was able to turn it around in 2025, winning 2 premierships in the Ballarat Indoor Bias Bowls Association Mens pennant.
Both Divisions finished second after the home and away fixture earning the double chance, with Division Two overcoming top side VRI in the semi final, before accounting for City Oval in the Grand Final with both rinks successful in a professional effort and all players performing at their best.
Division Three came up against the side that dominated the home and away season, Central Wendouree, in the semi final, going down by one shot in a nail-biter. A tremendous bounce-back in the preliminary final against Midlands saw the Vics get a second crack at Central Wendouree in the Grand Final.
After trailing early, our team fought hard and overcame the flag favourites with a comprehensive two-rink win.
