GWR SSV Final Title for Phoenix College captained by Micah Oswin

Following their victory in the BAS Lawn Bowls competition, Phoenix P-12 Community College headed to Ararat Bowling Club on Tuesday to compete in the GWR region final of School Bowls, captained by Micah Oswin.

Jagger, Oscar and Micah competed in the Junior Division and combined brilliantly to go undefeated through the sectional rounds with dominant performances in all games. Taking on Trinity College in the final, they dropped 1 shot on the first end, before piling on 18 shots over the next 5 ends, leaving no need to play the last 2 ends.

Congratulations champions! The junior team will play off for the state title in May. We wish them all the best.
