Gold for Micah at School Sports Australia Games at Club Pine Rivers

Congratulations to Micah Oswin and Team Vic on securing the overall gold medal at the School Sports Australia Championships.

Set up by a dominant performance by Victoria 2 (Harry Coleman, Jacob Cartwright, Cooper Sutton, Jacob Brighton and Keira Johnston) who finished on top of the teams ladder, the Vics held on by 3 points to take first spot.

Micah played pairs with Addy Ryan and faced some tough opponents but managed a couple of great wins. Unfortunately they didn’t qualify for a medal playoff. In the fours, all games were close for Victoria 1 (Ayla, Micah, Addy and Max) with them securing 2 wins from their 4 games.

What a great experience to play against Australia’s best and a step towards representing Bowls Victoria in the future.
